FeaturesWorking with the client
Client portal for interior designers
One link in place of an e-mail thread full of attachments. Behind it the client sees only what you choose to share: materials to review, the shopping list and the schedule. They comment, approve and look back at what was agreed, without creating an account.
What the client sees
The portal is not a separate app for the client. It is a page behind the project's link, and it shows:
- Materials to review: visualisations, plans, PDF files and links, arranged by stage.
- The shopping list: all of it or only the products you select. You decide whether the client sees prices and links to shops.
- The schedule: project stages with their dates, the dates feedback is due, and the meetings and visits you mark as visible to the client.
- Consultations: the client books a meeting in the slots you set.
- History: earlier materials and the feedback already sent stay behind the same link.
Comments and approval
The client comments on a specific material and can pin a comment to the exact spot it refers to, on a page of a PDF too. There is also a field for general comments. When they are done, they send everything at once as their feedback, or they approve the materials.
You reply in the thread under each comment and mark it resolved. The client sees your replies in the portal and is told about them by e-mail.
Products on the shopping list are accepted or rejected one by one, with a note on what the client would like changed.
No account, but not open to everyone
The client creates no account and remembers no password. The link alone shows nothing, though: before the portal opens, the client confirms it is them with a code sent to their e-mail address or a PIN from the studio.
More people can be added to a project, a partner for example. Each confirms themselves with their own code or PIN and has their own level of access: full access like the client, replying in comment threads, or viewing only.
Once the project is finished the portal stays available, read-only.
What you see on your side
Beside the materials you shared, you see when they were sent, when the client opened them and when feedback arrived. Your own preview of the client's page does not count as a visit by the client.
Before you share anything, you can preview the materials as the client will see them.
Currently free
Your studio has up to 5 active projects free, with no card. Everything described on this page is part of the same account.
Questions and answers
Does the client need an account or an app?
No. The portal opens in a browser. The client only confirms it is them, with a code sent by e-mail or a PIN.
Can the client see my notes and suppliers?
No. On the shopping list the client never sees the supplier, manufacturer, catalogue number, purchase status or your notes.
Is the client notified?
When you share materials you can send the client an e-mail. An e-mail also goes out when you reply to their comments. If you set a date for feedback, a client who was e-mailed about the materials gets a reminder before it.
Which language is the portal in?
English or Polish, depending on the link language you choose in the project.
