FeaturesWorking with the client
Client questionnaire for interior design projects
Before you design anything, you need to know how your client lives and what they expect. Projado is software that sends the client a questionnaire as a link. They answer in their own time, from a phone if they like, and the answers arrive in the project as its brief.
How it works
In the project you generate the questionnaire link and pass it to the client: copy it, or e-mail it straight from the software. The client creates no account and sets no password. Before the questionnaire opens, they only confirm it is them, with a code sent to their e-mail address or with a PIN you give them.
Answers save themselves, so the client can stop and come back later. At the end they review everything they are about to send. When they send it, you are notified and the answers are waiting in the project.
Before you share the link, you can open a preview and see the questionnaire exactly as the client will.
Questions that fit the home
It is not one long form. The questions adapt to the type of property, a house or a flat (apartment), and to the rooms the project covers. The client ticks the rooms, and each one gets its own questions.
- Shared zones: when the kitchen, living room and dining room form one open space, the client answers the shared questions once.
- Copying answers: when two rooms have similar needs, the client copies the answers across and changes only what differs.
- Inspiration for the mood board: photos and links, each with a note on what the client likes about it.
- What stays: appliances and furniture the client already owns or has already bought, with a photo, dimensions and a link.
- Optional question blocks about children and about accessibility, which you switch on or off per project.
What you get back
The brief is laid out like the project: general information first, then room by room. The rooms the client ticked already exist in the project, so the same rooms carry through to the site survey, the mood board and the shopping list.
You can print the brief or save it as a PDF. If something is agreed later, you edit the answers in the project, and the client can update the questionnaire and send it again. When it all holds together, you approve the brief and close the stage.
The questionnaire and the rest of the project
Inspiration the client adds goes onto the project's mood board, next to yours. From the client's answers about budget and floor area the software works out an estimated budget, which the shopping list total is later compared against.
The questionnaire is always the first stage of a project. If you took the brief in person, you can close the stage without it.

Questions and answers
Does the client need an account?
No. The client opens the link and confirms it is them with a code sent by e-mail or a PIN from the studio. There is no account and no password.
Can I write my own questions?
Not today. The questionnaire is one standard set of questions that adapts to the property and its rooms. You can switch the blocks about children and accessibility on or off, but you cannot add questions of your own.
What if I took the brief at a meeting?
You can close the stage without the questionnaire. The client can still fill it in later, and you can reopen the stage at any time.
Which language does the client see?
English or Polish. You choose the link's language in the project, and the client can switch it on the page.
